Module summary
The module provides knowledge and develops skills to understand and to be able to critically assess the role of effective global leadership for the management of large and small multinational enterprises in dynamic and uncertain business environments. The major implications for global leadership in rapidly changing business environments in national and sub-national locations is also examined. The module includes examination of the personality and behavioural traits associated with global leadership and how global mindsets and developing managerial knowledge and skills facilitate effective management of multinational enterprises. At the outset, and through a test using the Workstyle Personality questionnaire (WPQ) or 16 Personalities Test, this module will facilitate a self-evaluation of each student’s personality in terms of leadership. This approach is designed to locate the individual within the leadership field from the outset and the result will be used as a reference point for the student in the self-reflective essay. Objectives
