Module summary
Each TPG follows a unique tailored programme of training and research planned in consultation with a member of staff drawn from the School of Sociology and Social Policy. The rational for the module is to ensure student familiarity with contemporary concerns relevant to the likely selected dissertation topic. This includes successfully researching, designing, conducting and producing a high-quality project. Supervisors and students may build here on the coverage provided in Semester One modules. Guidance on appropriate readings is specific to individual candidates. Students submit an outline plan, setting their dissertation.
