Module summary
This is an integrated Spanish language skills module, designed to enable the students to acquire the level of subtlety in appreciating nuances and communicative contexts of a native speaker, to enhance their knowledge of a wide range of linguistic usages and structures and their ability to make use of them in accordance with the intention of the speakers, the linguistic and extra-linguistic contexts or the relationship or status of the speakers at a higher level. There will be a weekly two hour lecture and a 1-hour weekly tutorial during which language tutors will provide supervision, linguistic guidance and feedback in relation to individual assessed projects (Semester 1).
