Objectives

To enable students to:
-Develop creative and innovative solutions to organisational problems and challenges
-Develop an understanding of the processes involved in creating and launching a new product

Knowledge of:
-the role of creativity and innovation within organisations
-the tools and techniques of creative and innovative management
-the ways to overcome barriers to creativity
-the processes involved in creating and launching a new product

Skills outcomes
Ability to :
-Apply creative problem solving skills
-Apply influencing skills
-Formulate a Business plan

The content will cover such areas as

Consideration of theory and practice in relation to :
-the role of creativity and innovation within organisations
-the tools and techniques of creative and innovative management
-the ways to overcome barriers to creativity
-the processes involved in creating and launching a new product
