Objectives

To enable students to:
Develop their understanding of aspects of financial and management accounting.

- Double entry bookkeeping
- Budgetary control
- Investment appraisal
- Relevant costing

Skills outcomes
Ability to :
- Enter financial transactions into ledger accounts and extract a trial balance
- Correct errors in the accounting system
- Apply investment appraisal techniques
- Construct budgets
