Objectives
On completion of this module, students should be able to:- demonstrate the ability to identify, negotiate and plan an original creative writing project
- pursue and successfully complete this creative writing project
- utilise regional, national and on-line resources and networks to research appropriate publication or performance options
- develop and re-draft their work in response to tutorial supervision
- demonstrate the ability to meet setbacks and challenges constructively
- apply professional standards of editing and presentation skills in their final submission.

Syllabus
- Identify project with reference to an audit of strengths, weaknesses, affinities and challenges
- Negotiate with tutor concerning project nature and characteristics
- Creative writing
- Reading to develop and consolidate appropriate creative writing skills
- Researching appropriate markets
- Re-drafting in response to tutorial discussion
- Critical reflection and submission of commentary
- Editing and compilation of final submission for assessment.
