Module summary
“Soft” skills including team working, cultural sensitivity, ethical awareness and effective communication are required to be an effective data scientist. You will explore these skills in this module through a series of case studies on the actual practice of analytics.Objectives

Group project will require a 15-minute presentation focusing on the ethical and cultural issues involved in the use of data analytics in organisations that operate globally. The assessment will be based equally on the actual presentation and the supporting documentation (i.e. slides and notes). The project assessment will be for the group as a whole supplemented by the standard Faculty procedure for marks to reflect group member evaluations of individual contributions.
