Objectives
By the end of the module you wil:- be computer literate
- know how to log in to the University network, use email and the WWW and use some widely distributed tools including a word processor
- learn how to use the R and Maple packages to solve mathematical problems.
This will equip you to take subsequent modules in Mathematics into which the use of Maple is integrated.

5. Stats package R
6. Maple as a tool for doing numerical calculations
7. Maple as a tool for doing algebraic manipulations
8. Applications of Maple to Calculus.
