Objectives

For progression to Year 5 of the MBChB, each student is required to pass all Year 4 modules.

Syllabus

The Year 4 Integrated Summative comprises of one 150 single-best answer MCQs paper. It is a competency-based assessment, with standard setting using appropriate methods employed and all results evaluated for validity and reliability of the examination. Students are required to pass the written examination (grade D or above) in order to progress to Year 4.

The result for this assessment is also the basis on which eligibility for MBChB with Honours is determined.
