Objectives
This module provides state of the art research led teaching focusing on 4 immunology topics, but also covers microbial systems biology, virus and parasites. Students are recommended to attend five advanced topics.Learning outcomes
Students should become familiar with current research in a range of topical areas within the field of microbiology.
Syllabus
The module will consist of a number of "advanced topic units", each of which will contain a series of lectures ± other teaching sessions relating to a particular research topic within the field of microbiology. Students will attend, and do additional reading on, at least 5 of these ATUs.
This module is mutually exclusive with other Advanced topics modules in this semester within the faculty of biological sciences.
