Objectives
On completion of this module, students should be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of their specialist area within Translation Studies.Learning outcomes
On completion of this module, students should be able to produce an extended piece of written work based on supervised independent investigation of a specialist topic within the field of translation studies. This will demonstrate an ability to formulate research questions, select appropriate research methods with which to address them, develop a critical stance in relation to the topic and present a coherent argument supported by academic evidence.
Students should also be able to express themselves clearly and to present their work in line with normal academic standards.
