This module is intended for students with Russian A Level or equivalent. The module is designed to train you in all aspects of practical language skills, and aims to prepare you for your period of study in a Russian-speaking country by taking a communicative approach. The aim of this module is to consolidate and extend your existing productive, receptive and interactive skills in the Russian language, in order to provide a firm linguistic preparation for your period of residence abroad. The objective will be for you to have reached a minimum proficiency at least equivalent to CEFR level A2 and be working towards CEFR level B1. The aim and objective will be achieved through the provision of a weekly grammar class targetted at linguistic accuracy, together with two further weekly practical classes aimed at developing both written and oral communicative skills.Learning outcomes
