4. Understand the need for high ethical and professional standards and understand how they are applied to issues facing engineers.
5. Understand the principles of risk assessment and of safety management.
6. Have a knowledge and understanding of laboratory practice.
7. Be able to design, plan and undertake experimental and critically interpret, analyse and report on experimental data.
8. Recognise the importance of project planning and time management and have acquired a range of experience in achieving these.
9. Understand that an effective ethics culture includes how sustainability, health and safety, equality, diversity and inclusion and professionalism are informed by and influence the ethical reasoning and behaviour of the professional engineer.
