Objectives

By the end of the module, students should have a knowledge of the key concepts, principles and rules in land law.

Learning outcomes
By the end of this module, students should be able to:
- identify, state and analyse concepts, principles and rules of land law;
- utilise appropriate terminology and reasoning to produce a coherent legal account of issues relating to land law;
- recognise the political, economic and social contexts in which land law has developed, and continues to develop;
- acknowledge and reflect upon the different intellectual perspectives that have been applied to land law;
- identify, locate and critically evaluate legal research in the area of land law;
- demonstrate the ability to speak confidently, clearly and cogently about land law within a group environment.

The online learning element is broken down into 15 minute tasks, there will be 20 x 15 minute tasks overall.

Opportunities for Formative Feedback

Monitoring via seminar performance. Progress is also monitored by participation in a formative essay and in revision sessions after the end of formal teaching.
