Entry requirements:
There will be no direct recruitment to the Politics and Parliamentary Studies (PPS) programme. Students on BA Politics are eligible to apply to transfer to PPS at the end of level one. This is a competitive process, involving a written application and, for shortlisted candidates, an interview.

Programme specification:
The programme will critically engage with the nature of politics and parliamentary studies, furnishing the student with a historically informed and theoretically aware academic understanding of the dynamics of political phenomena and an in depth understanding of political processes, both at the domestic and international levels.
This is a well-established programme which provides the opportunity for students to spend a year on placement in a political office, normally that of an MP at Westminster. All assessment during the year is set by POLIS and does not contribute to the degree classification.
