Programme specification:

This programme provides the taught component for the EPSRC CDT in Future Fluid Dynamics integrated degree of PhD and MSc in Fluid Dynamics. It delivers a broad training in the theory of fluid dynamics, experimental, analytical and numerical techniques, and data-driven methods together with the development of communication, team-work, leadership and problem-solving skills to complement deep expertise developed in the PhD project. As members of a multidisciplinary centre, our graduates will be exposed to a much broader variety of fluids problems, and the theoretical and experimental tools used to tackle them, than is usual from a traditional UK PhD, equipping them to be future research leaders in industry, environmental laboratories or academia.
