Assessment
Achievement will be assessed by a variety of methods in accordance with the learning outcomes of the modules specified for the year/programme and will include:- Demonstrating the knowledge and application of standard concepts, information and techniques relevant to the discipline;- Work experience- Demonstrating emerging abilities, skills and competencies;Progression from Level 1 to Level 2Students must successfully complete a minimum of 100 credits at Level 1 to progress to Level 2. Students will be permitted to progress with 100 credits where the 20 credit deficit relates to Discovery modules. All Social Work specific modules must be passed for progression.Students may be permitted to proceed with 90 credits, but must achieve the outstanding credits in order to complete progression by the end of December in their second year. Students must successfully complete (pass) HECS 1117 – Professional Practice 1 (which includes the Readiness for Direct Practice) before commencing Level 2 studies.
