Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this level of study you will be able to:

1. Demonstrate in-depth subject knowledge through a focus on specific areas of study
2. Distinguish and evaluate distinct approaches and methods in the study of the history of art
3. Identify and analyse current critical issues in the study of the institutions, display, and encounter with art

1. Independent research and enquiry
2. Appropriate deployment of different forms of communication and argument
3. Synthesis of diverse forms of knowledge

Assessment

Assessment at Level 2 takes varied forms, depending on specific requirements of your different modules. Assessment will include different kinds of written assignment, and may also involve any of the following: presentations, group work, exams, and innovative practice-led approaches. Assessment is led by principles of relevance, fairness and inclusivity, and the development of vital skills beyond university, such as problem-solving, adaptability, self-reliance and reflexivity.
