A research exercise requiring the locating, analysis and evaluation of appropriate sources forms the first assessment of both option modules in Basket 1. A critique exercise requiring the development of close reading skills forms the first assessment of both option modules in Basket 2. Together, they work to enhance the different elements tested at Level 1, while preparing students for the advanced research skills required at Level 3.
