Assessment
All our assessment is intended to be authentic, which means relevant to contemporary contexts, personal interests and future aspirations, supporting the development of vital skills beyond university, such as problem-solving, adaptability, self-reliance and reflectivity. Assessment is aligned to the learning outcomes of each module, and students will be assessed through a variety of methods dependent on the module and level of the programme. This will include portfolios of visual and creative work and may also include written work such as blogs, critical responses to artworks, essays and occasional exams. At Level 2, studio assessment in particular, is focussed on students demonstrating a developmental level of achievement.
