At the end of this programme you will be able to demonstrate: 1. The ability to conduct an independent in-depth enquiry within Global Development. 2. Critical thinking about a range of received opinions concerning Global Development. 3. Use of techniques relevant to the discipline and/or to demonstrate and the ability to choose between techniques at the forefront of the discipline. 4. Specialist knowledge relevant to Global Development. 5. A critical and creative evaluation of current issues, research and advanced scholarship in Global Development. Skills Learning OutcomesAt the end of this programme you will be able to: 1. Design and develop an independent research project. 2. Use digital skills in a variety of contexts to discover and retrieve information, to produce documents, and to communicate and present findings to others. 3. Communicate your ideas accurately, effectively, and persuasively to individuals and groups. 4. Gather and interrogate information to identify whether it is accurate and relevant. 5. Assessment
Each module is assessed separately, through assessments that range from long essays to projects and assignments, offering you the opportunity to work in your particular field of interest within each topic area. You will also carry out a dissertation in a research area of your choice.
