Learning outcomes
i. Students will be able to critically evaluate and apply core concepts, analytical tools and frameworks in an integrated manner across subjects to identify the dynamics and constraints of managing internationally (PA 1, 2)ii. Students will demonstrate critical analysis of ideas and evidence to recognise, interpret and account for the complexity of ethical business management conducted across national and sub-national boundaries (PA 1, 3,6)iii. Students will be able to define research questions, design and implement quantitative and/or qualitative research methods, analyse primary and secondary data and justify the selection of an appropriate research strategy (PA 4)iv. Students will be able to critically engage with the current literature in the field of international business (PA 1, 4)v. Students will be able to critically evaluate strategic choices available to organisations, identify an alternative course of action and issue recommendations supported by all available evidence (PA3)vi. Assessment
Achievement for the degree of Master (taught programme) will be assessed by a variety of methods in accordance with the learning outcomes of the modules specified for the year/programme and will involve the achievement of the students in:- evidencing an ability to conduct independent in-depth enquiry within the discipline;- demonstrating the ability to apply breadth and/or depth of knowledge to a complex specialist area;- drawing on a range of perspectives on an area of study;- evaluating and criticising received opinion;- making reasoned judgements whilst understanding the limitations on judgements made in the absence of complete data.
