Learning outcomes
On completion of the year/programme students should have provided evidence of being able to:- identify viable business opportunities; and - write/present a business plan that demonstrates growth of a start-up business -mobilise resources/build networks in order to achieve their business objectives.
Transferable (key) skills
Students will have had the opportunity to acquire, as defined in the modules specified for the programme:• In addition to developing specific knowledge outcomes relating to their field of interest, students will also have developed the following transferable skills:• - Self management and development;• - Managing tasks;• - Communicating clearly;• - Working with and relating to others;• - Understanding the social context of business and making ethical decisions;• - Applying knowledge (including knowledge gained from their degree programme);• - Applying initiative in work problems; and • - Reflecting on their own learning outcomes.
Assessment
Achievement will be assessed by a variety of methods in accordance with the learning outcomes of LUBS7001 Year in Enterprise.
