BSc Physics with Astrophysics

On completion of the year/programme students should have provided evidence of being able to:- demonstrate a basic knowledge of common physical laws and principles, and some applications of these principles;- identify relevant principles and laws when dealing with problems;- manipulate numerical and other quantitative information, and apply manipulative skills to the solution of problems;- execute an experiment and evaluate the level of uncertainty in results;- communicate in writing the results of their work or other scientific information;- awareness of others in group situation;- make effective use of physics skills and knowledge to applications in Astrophysics;- have experience of practical techniques in Astrophysics.
